I'm on a quest!

A PIE quest!
Story goes that Stuart's favorite pie is chocolate cream. The kind where you use chocolate pudding mix and takes 10 minutes to make. To me this is stunning because there's a pie I make (bannoffee) that takes 4 HOURS to make. I'd make it as a special treat because it takes so long to make and he appeared to really enjoy it but infact he prefers a 10 minute pie.

The quest is to come up with a pie he likes even better than chocolate cream but takes just as much time to throw together.

What's your favorite pie? Help me complete my mission...

cameron and i have a lot of fun making cakes and pies and things but his favourite is the throw it all in tart...we called it that because it sounds slightly offensive...and makes us laugh.
buy one of the ready made pie shells... melt chocolate and line it (we dont have measurements it goes on taste really)by swirling your pie shell around until its all coated in your chocolate...after that get a big bowl in your big bowl throw in a big handfull of mini mallows a handfull of m&m's a handful of chopped up mini milkyways, malteasers , marsbar get your favourite fruit we use strawberries chop them up and throw them in get some mini brownies or something like it and throw that in to in another bowl whip up some cream and then ad both mixtures together you could use chocolate cream if you wanted to, mix them up and put them in your shell throw it in the fridge to get nice n chilled for 20 mins and then eat it!

I love chocolate pudding pie as well, only we used half the milk and filled in the rest of the milk with whipped cream. Makes it extra fluffy. :D

Other than that, my other favorite is apple pie and it takes about 3 hours to make so I'm not exactly sure which helps you the most :D hahahahaha!

Your hair looks like it's getting really long in some of these pictures of you in Seattle. I've been there and I have to agree, it's completely awesome! Looking at all of your pictures reminds me of how cool it was. I'd be the downtown-apartment chick too!

I wish I could help in this quest..but you are the master baker/chef so my input would be worthless!! How are you doing? Sorry I haven't commented in 10 years. You seem to be enjoying seattle, hope you continue to have a great summer! Good luck with your ultimate Pie Quest!

Lemon Meringue pie is my favourite.

My flatmate would always make Key Lime pie which is not dissimilar to the lemon meringue.

There is always coconut banana cream pie. Cream, banana and coconut thrown in a pie case. I'm not a huge fan, but it might even take less than 10 minutes to make :)

I'm 30 years old and never to this day have tried a bite of pie. It just looks wrong. Although, that concoction that Beki described sounds like some sort of wild chocolate madness that might not look or taste as offensive as I think pie looks and tastes!

Tara: I would make you a pie. Next time I make it I shall dedicate it to you ;)

Beki: That sounds so good but also makes me want to spew. Stuart wants to be a dentist. I think he might be morally opposed to that pie.

L: I'm going to do this one. I think he'll like it and it'll be a nice little twist on the chocolate pudding pie thing. He doesn't like skooshy cream (cream from a can) on it but likes real whipped cream... I'm pretty excited about this.

Rachel: Things are good. Stuart finishes school in April. Yikes! It's pretty exciting. I'm confident in my pie quest...

Vikki: Not much beats a lemon meringue pie. I think I'll try that too. Stuart doesn't like banana flavored stuff and doesn't like coconut in pie either - both of those are 2 of my favorite things. Curse him.

Chiemi: I hear ya. He loves pie but is picky...

SHANNON! You have never had a piece of pie?! This astounds me! I am astonished. I don't even know what to say... Dumbfounded.

i make a mean peach pie, if i do say so myself...it takes more than 10 minutes and less than 4 hours. you can also do a delish strawberry-peach variation. now the recipe is NOT widely distributed...gotta be famous for something, right? but if you shoot me an email or a PM via a certain forum, i might be persuaded to share with YOU, laura. :)
